Broadcom attracted attention after its October 27, 2026, rally and a positive overnight trading snapshot. But the most important distinction on its Robinhood page was not a price: the displayed Buy percentage described analyst recommendations, not the buying activity of Robinhood customers.

What does Broadcom’s 96.4% Buy rating mean?

Robinhood’s Broadcom page displayed Buy recommendations for 96.4% of 55 analyst ratings. That measures the opinions in its analyst panel, not the percentage of customers buying shares or the probability of making money. Broadcom’s overnight availability and recent gains are separate considerations, each carrying risks that the rating cannot resolve.

Analysts can use different earnings estimates, valuation methods and investment horizons. Their recommendations may change after results, guidance or a shift in expectations. The public panel did not establish when each recommendation was updated, so its apparent precision should not be confused with a synchronized assessment.

The page separately displayed an overnight price of $346.84 at 2:24:48 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, approximately 1.32% above the October 27 close. Yahoo identified that activity as taking place on Blue Ocean ATS. It was not evidence of a completed Robinhood trade at that price.

The overnight display did not print a separate calendar date beside its clock time. Treat it as the snapshot associated with the original report, not a live quote or…
